With our 143-acre land laboratory for crop research and demonstration and 840
tillable acres, our students don't just sit in the classroom! Students learn crop,
environmental management, and precision agriculture techniques through the use of
seed varieties, chemical and pesticide use, and tillage, fertilization, and
soil-testing practices in a commercial farm setting. Tillable acres are planted
with corn, soybeans, wheat, oats, alfalfa, and mixed hay. |
